Add Website Shortcuts on Windows Desktop with Firefox

  1. Open the "www.ai-cctv.com" web site in your Firefox browser.
  2. Resize the Firefox window so you can see both your computer's desktop and the Firefox window on the same screen.
  3. Click the icon on the left of the address bar (where the URL is shown).
  4. While still holding the mouse button down, move the pointer to the desktop, then release the mouse button. The shortcut will be created.

Look on your desktop. There should be a new icon that resembles your browser icon for the web page you just created the shortcut for.

Note: If you open the shortcut you made, your default browser will open, and display the page for which you made the shortcut. See How to Change the Default Browser in Windows if you need help.
